Take Note Choir is associated with a research project carried out at the University of Edinburgh. The study aims to investigate how singing in a choir has an impact on psychological well-being in young people, and how young people experience singing in a choir and learning the repertoire.

The research is led by Liesbeth Tip, Clinical Psychologist and PhD student at University of Edinburgh, and founder of HarmonyChoir, together with colleagues from the School of Health in Social Science (Dr. Simona di Folco, Dr Massimo Tarsia, Prof. Matthias Schwannauer) and the College of Art (Katey Warran).
