<\/p>\nOn 29th November 2021 we held an online concert.<\/p>\n

The event is still available to watch for free via Facebook Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n This time, we were raising awareness of effects of racism on mental health and sharing some thoughts on how to be an active bystander.<\/p>\n The reason behind this event was that we wanted to support people we know, who have been affected by racism, either directly or vicariously.<\/p>\n All proceeds will go to anti-racist organisations:\u00a0ESA Scotland<\/a>, which provides (amongst others) peer-support sessions to the East and Southeast Asian community, and the\u00a0Racial Justice Network<\/a>, which provides bystander training free of charge. We raised \u00a3600, thank you to all of our supporters.<\/p>\n The musical show includes short talks from (guest) performers and the two involved organisations.<\/p>\n The event was also be the launch of a\u00a0research project<\/a>\u00a0on this subject, with involvements from researchers from the University of Edinburgh as well as colleagues from the University of West-Scotland and the University of Roehampton.
